# Quality tiers

> What the tiers change, per engine, and what they cost

Each engine has its own quality control. The words differ because they change different things.

## Clone: Max or Fast

| | **Max** | **Fast** |
| ------------ | ----------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| **Mesh** | Rebuilt as clean quad topology | High-poly mesh, as reconstructed |
| **Good for** | Game engines, rigging, anything you will edit by hand | Viewing, sharing, printing, quick iterations |
| **Time** | Often 20 to 30 minutes | A few minutes |
| **Cost** | 4 credits | 3 credits |

Made a Fast clone and want quads later? Open it in Space and run [Clean quad topology](/space/clean-quad-topology) instead of cloning again.

## One-shot: Pro or Max

| | **Pro** | **Max** |
| -------------- | --------------------- | ----------------------- |
| **What it is** | High quality, fastest | Highest quality, slower |
| **Cost** | 1 credit | 1 credit |

## Face: Draft, Standard or Max

The **Detail** control sets the triangle budget of the head. Standard is the default. Draft is quick to look at; Max is for close-ups.

<Tip>Start on the default tier. Most models never need the top one, and when one does you'll know exactly what you want it for.</Tip>
