# Credits
> What each action costs, what you start with, and how to get more
Everything that builds or changes a model costs credits. Viewing, downloading, sharing, lighting and sending to Blender are free.
## What things cost

The button always shows the cost before you click, and the line under the mode switch shows your balance next to it. A job that is **Not accepted** or that **fails** returns its credits.
## What you start with
A new account starts with **20 credits**. Invited members on the free plan get **200 credits a month** instead of a paywall.
## The credits pill
The pill in the header is your balance. Click it for the price list per engine, your plan, and the **Pro** and **Studio** cards with a one-click checkout. Links to the full pricing and the refund policy sit at the bottom.
Short on credits? The bar tells you before you generate and offers the plans, rather than failing later.
